Learn More About Maggie

I approach clients with an objective, compassionate perspective, taking into account the many factors that may be impacting their current experiences and challenges. I strive to listen openly and thoughtfully in order to understand each client’s unique concerns, goals, and strengths.

I believe therapy is most empowering when clients discover their own answers, so I guide the process through thoughtful questions, collaboration, and supportive reflection rather than simply telling clients what to do.

Since 2007, I have helped clients navigate difficult seasons of life, build resilience, and create meaningful change. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Chemical Dependency Counseling (CDCA), and clinical supervision (SUPV). Using a cognitive behavioral approach combined with mindfulness, empathic listening, attachment work and practical problem-solving, I help clients feel more empowered in their lives and relationships.

I work with adults, adolescents (15+), and couples navigating life’s inevitable transitions and challenges, including relationship changes, divorce, parenting, school and career transitions, moves, grief and loss, empty nesting, retirement, caregiving for aging parents, and other significant life adjustments.

Outside of counseling, I prioritize balance through exercise, family time, being outdoors, cooking, music, reading, and learning new things. My husband and two daughters continually remind me of the importance of connection, perspective, and laughter.
